Art Workflow

A governed Airtable-to-CMS publishing pipeline for art-world, museum, gallery, and cultural-institution operations teams. AI enrichment of titles, summaries, tags, and alt text, with a human reviewer holding final authority over every published entry, and a tamper-evident record under all of it.

ETHRAEON Constitutional Runtime | Governed Enrichment + Human-in-the-Loop | Built on the ETHRAEON estate substrate

Art Workflow is an ETHRAEON-built operations tool, offered to the market as a deployable capability. It runs on the same constitutional runtime substrate and append-only evidence pattern as the rest of the ETHRAEON estate.

Governed Publishing For Catalogued Collections

Galleries, museums, art fairs, and cultural programs already track their works, events, and exhibitions in Airtable or a comparable base. The slow, error-prone, and risky part is everything between the spreadsheet and the live website: writing the titles and wall-text summaries, tagging and categorizing, producing accessible alt text for every image, and pushing clean entries and assets into the CMS without a published mistake.

Art Workflow is the pipeline that governs that path. It ingests records from your Airtable base, uses AI to draft the enrichment fields, routes every draft to a human reviewer who must approve before anything publishes, and then uploads the approved entries and assets to your CMS. Each step writes a tamper-evident record, so the institution always has an auditable account of what changed, who approved it, and when.

FOR: Galleries and dealers | Museums and cultural institutions | Art fairs and biennials | Auction and collection managers | Public art and grant programs | Any operations team publishing a catalogue from Airtable

Built From A Real Operations Problem

The tool began as a working pipeline ETHRAEON built to solve a concrete art-world publishing problem: a team kept its events and works in Airtable, needed consistent enrichment and accessible alt text on every record, and could not afford a wrong entry going live on a public cultural surface. The original build proved the pattern. Art Workflow is the generalized, sellable product of that pattern, rebuilt so any cultural-operations team can deploy it against its own base, its own enrichment standards, and its own CMS.

The defect it removes is the same one every catalogue team carries: manual enrichment is slow and inconsistent, fully automated enrichment is fast but ungoverned and publishes errors, and neither approach leaves a clean record. Art Workflow keeps the speed of AI drafting while keeping a human in final authority and a verifiable trail under the result.

The Four-Stage Governed Pipeline

Record Path: Airtable Base Through Governed Publication
S1Ingest. Events, works, and exhibition records are pulled from your Airtable base and normalized against the pipeline schema. Source fields, linked assets, and prior status travel with each record.
S2AI enrichment. The pipeline drafts the missing fields: titles, wall-text and listing summaries, category and theme tags, and accessible alt text for each image. Drafts are proposals, never auto-published.
S3QA and human-in-the-loop. A reviewer sees each draft against the source record, edits or rejects freely, and explicitly approves. Nothing advances without a recorded human decision.
S4CMS upload. Approved entries and their assets are uploaded to your CMS. A tamper-evident record of the ingest, the draft, the approval, and the publish is written and retained.

Honest capability framing. Art Workflow is an enrichment-and-publishing operations tool with a mandatory human approval gate, not an autonomous content generator and not a CMS. ETHRAEON publishes no enrichment-accuracy or time-saved figure on this surface. The AI-drafted fields are always proposals for a human to accept, edit, or reject. What ETHRAEON warrants is the governed flow, the human approval requirement, and the auditability of every change, not a benchmark number. Airtable and the destination CMS are third-party systems integrated per deployment.

Three Durable Properties

Faster
AI drafts the enrichment work the team would type by hand
Governed
A human must approve before any entry publishes
Evidenced
Tamper-evident record of every draft, approval, and publish

Cultural institutions increasingly carry accessibility obligations (accessible alt text on public image content) and provenance and accountability expectations on what they publish. Art Workflow supplies the mechanism that turns those obligations into a routine, recorded step in the publishing flow rather than a manual afterthought, while keeping the curatorial voice under human control.

Tiers For Cultural-Operations Teams

Art Workflow is sold on a tier ladder sized to the publishing cadence of the institution. The platform subscription covers the runtime and the human-review interface; component and sovereign licensing cover deeper integration and on-premise deployment. Figures below are indicative and confirmed per deployment.

A single gallery, program, or operations team publishing one catalogue.
  • Airtable ingest + schema mapping
  • AI enrichment drafts
  • Human-in-the-loop review queue
  • CMS upload connector
  • Standard support
Sovereign
Custom
On-premise or regulated-cloud, full control of pipeline and data.
  • Everything in Institution
  • On-premise / regulated-cloud deployment
  • Source + pipeline customization
  • Component / connector licensing path

Pricing is set per counterparty at contract time and depends on catalogue volume, the source base, and the destination CMS. ETHRAEON makes no certification, SOC 2, audit-attestation, or regulatory-approval claim on this surface. To scope a deployment against your own Airtable base and CMS, request a briefing.
