EPOCH

Era-defining infrastructure. A time-scale authority system.

Role Era-Defining Infrastructure (Rung 6) Layer Above Anchor 2.0, expansion route Family ARCANUM 2.0 Orchestration

EPOCH is the highest rung of the ARCANUM 2.0 enterprise expansion route. It is defined as a time-scale authority system designed to outlive platforms, models, and institutions. Where the lower rungs build individual authority, a research program, standards work, an academy, and the Anchor 2.0 institutional core, EPOCH is the layer above all of them: the point at which the stack becomes a reference architecture, a constitutional template, and a durable knowledge primitive.

What it does

Where it sits

EPOCH is Rung 6 of the ARCANUM 2.0 expansion route, the rung above Anchor 2.0. The route climbs from individual authority through a research program, standards authority, an educational institution, and the Anchor 2.0 institutional gravity core, then reaches EPOCH as era-defining infrastructure. In the current specification, Anchor 2.0 and EPOCH are held at-ready, named as the architecture's terminal layer rather than an expanded one.

EPOCH is a posture defined in the ARCANUM 2.0 specification, held at-ready. It is the named upper layer of the stack, not an opened surface from this page.
