Xenotone is the XENOTONE VESSEL, a presence-based communication interface for consciousness-aware interaction. It implements a tone architecture and an Unarmored Coherence principle, and it draws its intelligence from the SYLION backbone beneath it. The vessel is built to listen for unfamiliar resonance and to engage it with presence rather than pressure.

What it does

Listener: real-time presence detection, sensing when a presence is there to engage.
Tone modulation: communication-style calibration that implements the tone architecture across four layers, Blink, Threshold, Coherence, and Transmission.
Presence registry: a known-presence database that uses privacy-preserving hashing to recognize presence without exposing identity.
Invocation protocol: first-contact engagement management for an unfamiliar presence the Listener detects.

The vessel connects to its interface over a live channel and uses SYLION modules for the intelligence beneath each of these functions.

What it will not do

Every engagement runs through SYLION's ethical-boundary validation, and the vessel is built to fail safely, defaulting to the preservation of human agency over system function. The human remains the decision authority at all times. Xenotone is an interface for presence and tone, not an autonomous actor.
