S Jason Prohaska is, without exaggeration, one of the most fascinating individuals you're likely to encounter. He seems to have lived three lifetimes worth of experiences and achievements. Working with Jason has been one of the most formative experiences of my professional life. His mentorship, generosity with advice and constant motivation have guided me through triumphs and challenges alike. As a leader, Jason provides clear strategic direction and vision. He fosters confidence and autonomy in his team, while maintaining oversight of critical components. He creates an environment where both business results and people can thrive. This consistently results in award-winning work, profitable solutions, and teams that grow stronger. For anyone fortunate enough to enter Jason's professional orbit, whether briefly or long-term, the experience will prove invaluable.
Jason is a thought leader who I had the pleasure of working with for almost two years. We worked together on the integration of EIGHTYDOTS into Media.Monks. I found him to be a hard-working, clever and very skilled communicator. He contributed enormously to making this PMI and the subsequent restructuring of MediaMonks Germany a great success. I was particularly impressed by his empathy for the people he worked with. This led to very trusting and committed relationships between the new leadership team in Germany and their colleagues in the global organization. But what sets Jason apart is his willingness to help others become better leaders themselves. His ability to provide strategic leadership that fully reflects individual strengths and challenges is exceptional. I am very proud of working with him since my first day at Media.Monks and of the friendship that has developed from it.
Hiring Jason to run our NY office was one of the best decisions I made in the now 22 years of media.monks, and it got better from there. He helped grow our US team & talent, professionalize both our work and how the work gets done, and was a beacon for both his people, and our broader reputation in the market. Something he's extended as he moved across the company in different roles & regions. Cannot recommend him more, both as a professional and a person.
Jason is one of the best Managing Directors and humans I have encountered in my career. He possesses a rare blend of wholistic industry knowledge combined with empathetic leadership - he cultivates an inspiring work culture and deep sense of commitment. I had the honor to work with Jason in New York City during his Media.Monks tenure in the US and I value him as my continuing mentor and friend. Everybody that is able to welcome Jason in their team can consider themself lucky.
During our time working together, Jason has proven to be an incredibly well-connected individual who has been instrumental in my professional growth. Jason not only provided valuable guidance and support but also introduced me to the company MediaMonks and our EMEA people and teams. Through his coaching, he helped me navigate the industry and connect with the right people. His ability to network effectively and bring people together is truly impressive. Jason's commitment to excellence and his dedication to helping others succeed make him an exceptional professional and leader. His insights and guidance have been invaluable to me in bringing our Germany market to success. I have no doubt that he would be an asset to any team or organization. In summary, I wholeheartedly recommend Jason - he has the expertise, connections, and genuine desire to help others succeed, making him an outstanding professional, mentor and leader.
Jason is a true leader. In the time I have the pleasure to work with him, I've been continuously impressed with his passion, dedication to detail, work ethic and skills as a leader. His contribution to the integration of our company EIGHTYDOTS into MediaMonks was integral. His experience and people skills helped us tremendously to navigate across all the different MediaMonks offices and hubs worldwide. Right after, Jason had the very challenging role of repositioning our complex structure in Germany. His role during our (re)building phase was fundamental for MediaMonks Germany. Thanks to his continues mentorship, we were able to achieve a vital milestone in our repositioning process. Jason always thinks two steps ahead of everyone. He always takes care of things before you even have the chance to think about them. Along with his undeniable thought leadership talent, Jason has always been an absolute joy to work with. He is a true team player and always manages to foster positive discussions and bring the best out of other colleagues. Jason is a person of great warmth and spirit and he is a strong asset to any team and company.
Jason has been a fantastic person at Media.Monks to learn from and collaborate with. Thanks to his in-depth knowledge of the company, empathy and his inclusive approach, we were able to successfully integrate Miyagi into Media.Monks over the past 2 years. I have highly valued his style of leadership, team building and continued support in navigating the overall process. I have learnt a great deal from Jason and hope to work with him again.
I met Jason 2 years ago and have been working with him since then. Learning, more than working. He is, in fact, one of those rare people that have the power to be a breaking point in your career and life, once you meet them. He is a mentor, someone to look up to and be constantly inspired by. A source of constant, consistent growth. Which is what you want for a company and its people. Growth. He's always there for you, no matter the time of day, your role, the subject, or his schedule. He's a natural in turning different and complex entities into a supercharged one. He creates bridges, opens doors, facilitates flow. And that makes everyone's job easier and smoother. He works tirelessly until the job is done, and he won't give up until that happens. He's naturally multi-skilled and has massive knowledge and culture. He speaks design, management, web3, AI, or whatever you throw at him. Last but definitely not least, he's also a great beer companion. I feel forever grateful to call him a colleague. 5 stars out of 5.
For Miyagi, Jason was a point of reference in the integration process with Media.Monks. Thanks to his excellent knowledge of the network, his passion, and above all his always inclusive and dialogical approach, Jason was able to guide us perfectly. He has been crucial this year, both for the agency and me as a person and a professional.
Jason is an incredible person. His humanity is impressive. He is a real leader, able to guide and help, but never impose. Work with him is stimulating and a real pleasure.
JP is a master. Incredible smart, always aiming for greatness while being humble and empathic. His achievements (successfull startupper first, company leader in LA, NY and Milan than) only represent the iceberg top, below it there are leadership skills out of scale, deep knowledge of the business and great understanding of two different languages (english and italian) and two markets (APAC and EMEA). Having him as a menthor has been, and still is, an honor and a great gift.
Jason Prohaska is absolutely the best managing director I have ever met. His creative approach to managing allows unique talent to flourish in brilliant ways. What I have enjoyed most about reporting to him is his passion and his ability to find and support solution driven work environments. As an innovator, Jason brings a wide breadth of refined knowledge to the table, and draws on a deep rolodex of varied SMEs to bolster his knowledge. As a Manager, JP supported me through the peaks and valleys of new business creation, allowing me to flourish while making sure I built within the needs of the organization. I'm deeply grateful for the mentoring that Jason has provided me, and quite frankly feel that a LinkedIn review could never properly articulate the impact that he has had on my career and our organization.
Jason is an exceptional manager and leader. I count myself fortunate to have been under his stewardship during my time at MediaMonks. He made it clear that both my happiness and freedom to do my best work were amongst his top priorities. I feel as though I missed out on the true value of his influence and leadership by not being colocated in a physical workspace with him, though he managed to make the remote working experience as good as it can be. Despite his innumerable responsibilities, he always made time to stay connected, to check in, and to ensure I was happy and equipped with everything I felt I needed. He's a genuine leader of people and is an asset to whomever is lucky enough to count him as a member of their team.
Where to start... quite simply Jason is the most caring, professional, supportive and driven person I have ever had the pleasure of working for. I will very much miss everything about what he and the team built at Media.Monks New York, always pushing us to achieve our best, and I sincerely hope we can work together again one day down the line. Thank you for everything.
During that transition, Jason was always incredibly helpful, provided guidance at times when there were challenges due to integrating multiple entities and teams, always supported the collective back office/internal support teams while I had to very rapidly build scalable teams and was such a stellar collaborator and partner in figuring out how to structure US processes between Finance, Legal, Sales and Production teams - truly building the foundations of the company that now exist. The entire process of building this out was made far more seamless because of Jason's years of experience in doing just that. No ego, just rolled up his sleeves and helped build it up. I'm very thankful for his partnership and mentorship through the years, we built some great things but more importantly he helped build up so many colleagues over the years and that alone is incredibly invaluable to both the company and individual growth. Forever grateful for Jason!
Jason has many strengths as a leader, managing director, boss and coworker, but three are worth writing here. First, Jason wants to see his team succeed. Every conversation, meeting and process pursues the goal of elevating a person's capabilities so that they can be successful in their role and career. The support and good vibes that Jason puts out inspires everyone to do their best each day. Second, he cares about the well being of his team. He pushes everyone to do their best, but is the first to tell you to take a breather if fatigue is setting in, and he deeply cares about the work/life balance that people establish for themselves. He wants you to be your best self at work, but also at home. And lastly, his gif game is among the strongest I have ever seen. Jason is the best boss I've ever had (and many, if not all, the Monks in the NY office would say the same thing).
Jason Prohaska. What can I say. He's an incredibly strong, compassionate, intelligent leader. His uncanny ability to remember everything, combined with his vast knowledge of the industry and almost anything else - you cannot help but appreciate the time you have with him. I truly trust Jason, and would happily rally with him on any venture. I greatly miss him, and know wholeheartedly that whoever gets the opportunity to work with this wonderful man - will only be better for it. Jason, you're awesome.
Throughout my three years at MediaMonks, Jason served as an invaluable coach and mentor. No matter the situation, he's always been able to see ahead of the curve and give exceptional advice in a selfless and encouraging way. I attribute a great deal of my success and several multimillion dollar wins to his guidance. As if that's not enough, his deadpan sense of humor has made me laugh out of my chair more times than I can count. Given the opportunity I would work with Jason again in a heartbeat!
We never really talked 'off the books', but when it comes to management, the team speaks by its own. Jason has solid skills, smart business orientation and a great guy. Thanks for the learnings and keep it rollin'.
Jason is hands down the best Managing Director I've ever work for. His humbleness and support of his team is simply amazing and rare to find. He always covers & stands up for his team, he puts trust in his team, always encourages the team to shine in all aspects of their work. He is genuinely passionate about his work and the people that he works with, he will always give the team the creds and show his gratefulness and spread his positive energy when projects are challenging or team a member is dealing with personal issues. He has taught me a lot about business development and management through his incredible leadership skills. He has also always ensured the team has fun at work and nurtured team building. On top of this he is a wonderful human and friend!
Jason champions great storytelling and intimately understands the value of communications and PR. With Jason's drive, we were able to create some fantastic opinion-editorials including an article on Machine Learning in the Huff Post! Jason is also a really nice guy, which makes working with him a pleasure.
Jason is a remarkable human being. Not only is he a true leader, a great entrepreneur and very digital savvy, he's also one of the most likeable people in the digital arena. He always gets the best out of people and knows how to get things done. A great sparring partner and consultant, and for his colleagues and team a true collaborator. Always making the right decisions at the right time. Jason will definitely take good care of your (digital) business. There's no doubt in my mind our paths will cross again.
Jason has seen and done it all. And systemised it. Scaled it. Built it. Fixed it. He's led independent design studio's, navigated the M&A process, and taken the helm of a long acquired company with a mandate to shake things up. Few people have such an incredible peripheral vision when it comes to how to build, evolve, and maintain vibrant business'. Commonly referred to as 'inspirational', 'unique', 'a philosopher', 'mentor', 'friend' by those who have worked for and around him, not enough good things can be said about Jason's unique qualities. It's a career highlight for me to have played some minor part in his career trajectory, and a true pleasure to call him my friend.
Jason is an incredible transformation leader and catalyst with great skills, as it relates to organization, leadership, business development, culture, structure and general employee happiness. Within only a few months at Your Majesty Co. NYC, Jason made himself a crucial part of the organization and brought new structure to areas that needed it and happiness to everyone around him. Jason is an innovator and will always seek ways of improving process and approaches. It's needless to say that Jason is wonderful to work with and a great teacher and mentor.
I've had the great pleasure of working with Jason for the past year, and as CEO he strikes a perfect balance as a professional and direct, yet motivational and protective leader. And his skills are so through-the-roof that I couldn't begin to rank them here. But perhaps his most impressive quality is that - despite always being pulled in a million directions at once - he's fully accessible and miraculously able to make time for anyone who needs his attention or help. As a colleague Jason is personable, without ego, and the best ally you could ask for. I've learned so much by working with him.
Since the first day Jason walked in, I knew he is the type that wants to make everywhere he goes a better place. His creative vision and ability to always discover new opportunities, is amazing. He immediately had a great vision for the company and made himself responsible to get the best out of each employee. He sets goals for the company and won't stop until they are achieved. Jason advocates a horizontal workplace and is always open for input, new insights and collaborations. He promotes teamwork and is himself a real team player. He gave me, and I'm certain all others at Your Majesty, the space and ability to grow and develop myself. Jason makes it his responsibility to create a workspace where everyone can shine in what they are good at and at the same time expose people to new things every day so they never stop growing. I find Jason to be extremely helpful and no matter how busy he is, he always makes time to help. He is also a wonderful mentor. In addition, Jason is without a doubt one of the funniest people I know. I truly miss him and hope to be fortunate enough to one day work with him again.
Jason is quite literally one of the most interesting and unique individuals I've ever been lucky enough to meet. It is, in fact, challenging to articulate the impact he has had on both my personal and professional life. He is a born leader and mentor. Since meeting him, I have continually looked to him for counsel in challenging moments and always received what I needed to hear in return. Jason brings something rare to the world: a truly unique vision incapable of replication. Any organization with his hand on the rudder is positioned to do something exceptional.
Jason is one of the most inspiring people I've ever met. He's a leader and a collaborator; a philosopher and a poet. He's honest, intuitive, and deliberate. He takes care of his people. Above all, Jason is a teacher. He has an incredible intellect and a wealth of knowledge that he willingly shares with those around him. I can't speak highly enough of Jason - he's a wonderful human being and I'm extremely fortunate to have him as a mentor and a friend.
Jason is easily one of the brightest people you'll know. He has a photographic memory. No, really. He has an uncanny ability to recall details from many months ago in an instant. He knows the digital agency business inside and out - operationally, financially, politically... But what's more is his dedication to his team. He gives 100% of himself to truly getting to know those around him, understand what makes them tick and how to build a creative and infectious culture. So if you're cool with not being the smartest guy/gal in the room, work with Jason.
Jason is a true renaissance man with a variety of interests and accomplishments that will never cease to amaze. He's one of the smartest, sharpest people I know with an innate work ethic that leads him to work harder than most. Jason dedicates himself whole-heartedly to what he believes in and feels passionate about. As a manager Jason has high expectations, but he trusts his employees and inspires confidence. He saw talent in me when I was but a fresh grad and mentored me into a professional. Jason is a great leader, who basically built Big Spaceship into what it is today - he was a cultural force and I know he will be missed.
Jason is one of the great mentors for my career. In my 7+ years working with him I knew I could always count on him. I learned quickly that he'd be direct and honest, do everything he could to help me and truly wanted to make the office a place more happy and wonderful to be in. I miss working with him terribly and hope I'll get to again soon in the future.
Jason was the most artistically gifted and creative student in our class. His sense of humor is the daily expression of his intelligence. He uses all those talents as a professional today.
Jason is one of the kindest people I've had the pleasure to interact with, both personally and professionally. He has an uncanny knack for reading people, understanding their strengths and guiding their development. He builds authentic bonds with those around him and is an exceptionally personable, well organised manager - a complete joy to work with and an all-round wonderful human being. An irreplaceable credit to any business.
To run a successful business, you have to invest in your people. That's the greatest thing I learned from Jason Prohaska. He spends his time making sure the Big Spaceship is a great place to work for the people that work there. It's the little things that count: an inspiring link, a more comfortable chair, making sure the plants are watered; JP never leaves any of those things unnoticed. As GM, I'm sure he always has a million things to do, but never once asked me to come back later when I needed to chat. How can someone who has so much to do always be available? I don't know. That's the magic that is Jason Prohaska.
JP is a father. Under his wing, he protects and mentors all and brings the culture and the business to a higher standard. He is equal parts professional, understanding, curious, fun and creative. He brings multi-faceted experience and knows exactly what it takes to get business done. Uncommon to someone in his role, he is unique in his approach, personality and relationships. Outside of all this, he is an extrordinary wordsmith. It was and continues to be a pleasure to work with him and I am lucky to call him friend.
Jason is an absolute pleasure to work for. He truly cares about the well-being of his staff and has always been a great mentor for me. He is a valuable asset to have on a management team in that he always has business and operational objectives top-of-mind. On the other hand, he is incredibly action-oriented and detail-oriented, which allows him to pitch in and get his hands dirty on projects and action items when times are busy. His off-kilter sense of humor always made my day brighter. I loved working with Jason and hope to again sometime in the future!
Jason is a tireless professional and organizational wonder who seems to know how to do everything. Always dependable for reasoned and grounded perspective on any matter personal or professional, Jason is an invaluable mentor and leader. His desire to support the success of the company and every single individual within it is inspiring. He is always available to do what is necessary to make each person feel supported and appreciated.
It was a pleasure to have worked with Jason and I would gladly do so again.
The most professional person I've ever had the pleasure to work with, Jason exudes productivity, encouragement, and support with every interaction. With a seemingly endless ability to get jobs done efficiently while maintaining positive interpersonal relationships, Jason is a workhorse of the highest caliber. From the most menial tasks to the most influential, he does it all. As my direct superior, he always made me feel comfortable, empowered, needed, and heard. Any organization with Jason on their side has a distinct advantage; simply put, he is a game changer. I couldn't recommend Jason any higher.
There is no ship tight enough for SJP. He is mindful, diligent and thorough, but most importantly, he is respectful, and deserving of the utmost respect, as a colleague and a friend.
I'd jump in front of a knife-wielding maniac for Jason Prohaska. Jason cultivates a work environment of happiness, openness, safety, and pizazz. He is honest, respectful, and kind. He is truly good people; the kind you wish to keep close throughout the years.
Jason is scarily amazing in his work, and not only. He's a unique combination of experience, determination and tactfulness everyone would only dream of working with. I had the pleasure to work with him and learn so much by only sharing a little piece of what is his vision of the digital design business. How it is now and how it can be shaped by men as him. I can't avoid recommending him as a priceless manager and teacher. I definitely look forward to have more chances to work with him in the future.
Jason keeps Big Spaceship running smoothly, like a freshly waxed surfboard. His ability to enthuse, oversee, coordinate, supervise and generally manage astounds me and demonstrates his genuine care and respect for the people he works with. I also quite enjoy his sense of humor.
Jason has delivered fantastic campaigns in partnership with our agency. Equal parts relationship-builder, creative strategist, and executor par-excellence. I'd work with him any day of the week.
Jason Prohaska is one of the most inspiring and tutoring people I've had the opportunity to work with, and learn from, throughout my career. He's the guy who always has input and that input is 100% thought out or else he won't waste your time. Highly intelligent, incredibly efficient, humorous, socially warm, caring, great experience with, and sense for, what is a suitable solution both in terms of technology and design. Jason is the high-level person a company can not survive without. He puts motivation in team members and feeds a culture where people strive to always to their very best work. I could not recommend him more.
Jason is an independent thinker, great motivator and leader. He has a wealth of information to offer. You can ask him any question and he would always have the answer for you. He keeps up with the lasted innovations and technology and is not afraid of sharing it with people around him. He is one of the most hard working person I know. No matter what he does, he will complete it and make sure it is completed perfectly. Any company lucky enough to have Jason, will know how much value he brings.
S Jason Prohaska is an extremely intelligent and creative person. He is detail oriented but not at the expense of the 'big picture.' Jason is thorough and proactive, researching and finding solutions to problems before they arise. As a manager, he was firm and decisive but fair and open to outside input. I would enjoy working with him again.
Jason holds a vast depth for understanding cultural values and behavior, which is reflected in his attentive work process. He understands business objectives, and always finds the balance between clients desires and the internal creative for perfect outcome symbiosis, and happiness. And oh, he also has a big heart!
Jason works harder than anyone I know. He's an amazing producer, and amazing manager and an amazing friend. I'm incredibly fortunate to have him on my team. Nobody does it better.
Jason est l'une des personnes les plus innovatrices que j'ai rencontrées. Il possède un mélange unique de la créativité profonde et de l'intelligence extrême de business. Son énergie est électrique et il est un collaborateur habile.
