Data policy

No PII collection - Connection Coach is designed as a local-first prototype. Student names, identifiable information, and sensitive data never leave the secure environment. All processing happens on-device or within encrypted institutional systems.
Transparency - Students and parents see exactly what data is collected, how it is used, and how long it is retained. Full audit trails available on request.

Ethical constraints

No diagnostic claims - No predictive labels, no behavioral interventions without human oversight.
Explainability - Every pattern or insight can be traced back to specific student inputs, with full transparency.
Human agency - Coaches maintain full control over interpretation and action. The system provides data, not decisions.
